In my opinion, India shines in both outbound and inbound tourism. As an outbound tourist destination, India’s diverse culture, rich history, and breathtaking landscapes make it a must-visit for travelers from around the globe. Conversely, its booming middle class and increasing disposable income make it a significant source of outbound tourists. However, infrastructure and safety issues can sometimes dampen the inbound tourism experience. Nevertheless, with its unique mix of historical and natural attractions, India is an undeniable gem in the world of tourism.

In my latest exploration, I've been trying to understand why India, a country rich in culture and history, isn't attracting as many international tourists as expected. Several factors seem to be at play here. Firstly, safety concerns, particularly for women, and poor sanitation standards are often cited as deterrents. Additionally, the lack of well-developed tourism infrastructure and the complexity of obtaining a visa can also deter potential visitors. Nonetheless, India's incredible diversity and unique experiences make it a destination worth considering.
